DR. RICHARD COHEN

I am originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, but moved to New York to attend Binghamton University in 2004. After 3 years in the pre-med program, I became conflicted about continuing because the focus was on sickness instead of HEALTH. Serendipitously, a close college friend of mine told me about chiropractic and the philosophy that our bodies have the intelligence to heal, grow and maintain ourselves once interference to those processes is removed. A spark was ignited and I knew that a profession that enabled me to care for patients with my hands, without drugs or surgery, was the career and lifestyle I was looking for.  As a result, I bee-lined to LIFE University in Marietta, GA in the Fall of 2008 to start my journey. I’ve been in practice since 2013 and look forward to a long chiropractic career serving my community.

As a student I started a family and now have three beautiful children! I enjoy playing tennis, chess and video games with them. I also appreciate brisk (but short) runs as I was formerly a sprinter in high school and the occasional hike.

Dr. Cohen lives in Lilburn, GA to be close to work and his extended family!

DR. JACOB MINOR

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I became aware of Chiropractic during my studies of the Martial Arts. At the time, my mother was considering back surgery due to waking one day with severe pain running down her leg. I was counseled by a fellow student to guide my mother to his father who is a Chiropractor, before she made the choice to go under the knife. This event coincided with a transition in my own life from Martial Arts into Massage Therapy where I had an opportunity to work with my friend’s father as a Chiropractic Assistant concurrently.

The unique philosophy of Chiropractic resonated with me tremendously and inspired me to move to Marietta in 2005 to attend LIFE University. Chiropractic has provided me with the blessing of serving others while continually working on and improving myself.

Dr. Minor lives with his wife and daughter right by the practice in Decatur!

MIKKI

I am originally from Illinois and worked in the insurance industry for several years prior to moving to Georgia after the Olympics in 1996. After starting a company providing medical billing for various practices for 11 years I finally worked with my first chiropractor and haven’t looked back since.

It’s been over 15 years since chiropractic’s holistic approach has changed my career and helped improve my own health and the health of my family! I love working for Mason Mill Chiropractic because we educate our patients about continuing care beyond the limitations of insurance coverage. I enjoy my role of simplifying the insurance process for our patients and I continue to get adjusted weekly by our wonderful doctors!

Mikki has 5 children and 23 grandchildren and enjoys spending her weekends with family.

ASHLEY

After graduating from Clark Atlanta University, I spent eight years as a teacher instilling knowledge and values in countless students. Afterwards I worked in corporate management for 10 years, but always felt like I had not yet found my calling.

I realized though, that the common thread in all my previous professional pursuits was service. My desire to help people and improve their lives led me here! My strong work ethic, attention to detail, and compassionate nature made me an ideal fit for a practice administrator.

I am excited to continue learning and growing as an individual and hope I can concurrently help other realize and maintain the best versions of themselves.

Ashley is the proud mother of four children and takes great pride watching them grow and achieve their goals. In her “free” time, she enjoys staying active and getting regular adjustments.

SAM

I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and moved to Decatur, GA in high school after the birth of my twin brothers. I went on to graduate from Georgia State University in 2020 with a degree in Health Sciences.

After graduation I started work in the hospitality and retail industries, eventually landing a position in eye care, which I did for three years and helped me solidify my passion for helping others! My introduction to chiropractic care came as a patient, and I quickly fell in love with its holistic approach to health and wellness. Inspired by my own experience, I decided to take the leap and join the field, eventually leading me to my current role here at Mason Mill Chiropractic!

Now, I am dedicated to supporting patients on their own wellness journeys and providing compassionate care every step of the way.
